David has over 40 years of hands-on business experience and this, combined with his professional credentials enable him to quickly identify both the challenges and solutions for all types of business organizations.  His extensive credentials include:

As the CEO of Next Level Business Planning, David has created a Leadership Team Development program that unleashes the power and effectiveness of leadership teams by training them to focus on vision, alignment, traction, execution and results.  David also implements team building programs within organizations to create cohesive, effective and results-oriented teams at all levels of organizations.  David’s programs inspire owners, CEO’s, GM’s, divisional managers and all levels of employees with the right tools, information and training to become active participants in driving the financial success of their organization, thereby helping to achieve the overall goals and objectives of their stakeholders.

These programs combined provide to create a cohesive, vision oriented team of motivated, engaged and accountable employees working in a fun environment.

David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University, majoring in accounting.  During his four years at university, David was elected president of both his social (Alpha Epsilon Pi) and professional business (Alpha Kappa Psi) fraternities and was active in several campus organizations.

After graduation, David interned with a small accounting firm before joining Deloitte, a multinational professional accounting and management consulting firm while obtaining his CPA degree.  David subsequently joined the Federal government to help oversee the expansion of the cable television industry in Canada.  Four years later, he left to form Saxe Communications, a communications consulting firm which specialized in regulatory and financial affairs, business management, acquisitions and mergers and rate regulation for the telecommunications industry. He later formed Next Level Business Planning, which specializes in helping businesses and non-profit organizations reach their full potential.

Over the years, David has launched, built, operated and sold several businesses including a financial consulting practice, an accounting service, several cable television systems, a radio station and an oil and gas company.

David is actively involved in the community, both in Ottawa, Canada and in South Florida.  He is currently a life member of CPA Ontario and CPA Canada, a member of several Chambers of Commerce and networking organizations, the Exit Planning Institute, Ottawa Business Elite and TiE Ottawa (The Institute for Entrepreneurs).  He is a member of The Sovereign Society and a Chairman’s Circle life member of the Oxford Club, both of which are focused on international and domestic investment strategies.  He is also a past member and served on the executive of the Business Breakfast Club, the Small Business Association of Canada and a member of several other networking groups.

David earned national prominence as a past national chairman, treasurer and board member of the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance, a national organization serving the commercial needs of cable television operators across Canada.  He also served on the national executive of the Canadian Amateur Bobsled & Luge Association leading up to and including the Calgary Winter Olympics.
